Maria's Story 


I first met Maria in 2007 when she lived in a bedsit in a large unregistered care home with nine other people. She was supported by NHS staff and classified as an in-patient. There were areas in the building where all the residents could go and meet, but Maria did not get on well with one of the other residents and this made living there difficult for them both. It was a real pleasure to speak at the Support Solutions conference hosted by Kent Challenging Behaviour Network.

Holly Lodge - The Finished Development


On 17th April 2013, Holly Lodge - a supported living scheme for adults with a learning disability or autism who present with challenging behaviours - officially opened. This unique scheme is innovative in design, incorporating features such as curved internal walls and soft impact finishes to floors and walls. Click here to read more
